An overhead scaffold at Koteshwor and a walker connect at Dhobighat have been finished in the principal period of the Kathmandu Ring Road Improvement Project (KRRIP). Out of the aggregate six new scaffolds that the venture had wanted to finish by July 2018, development work is yet to begin on overhead extensions at Gwarko and Bagdol and person on foot spans at Satdobabto and Sanepa. 


Blacktopping of the 5-km extend amongst Koteshwor and Ekantakuna is required to be finished before rainstorm in 2017, as indicated by the KRRP. Forty-eight percent of the venture works, including opening of tracks, divider developments, seepage and sub-level developments, said Ganesh Jha, chief of the KRRIP at the Department of Roads. As indicated by Jha, a large portion of the evaluated spending plan has as of now been used for the venture being executed under the Chinese help at a cost of Rs 5.13 billion.
