......................... The Darjeeling Hills on Monday saw calm festivals in the midst of the 12-hour window given to the Muslim people group to observe Eid-ul-Fitr on the twelfth day of the uncertain shutdown. 


Individuals offered petitions at neighborhood mosques and a large portion of them didn't utilize vehicles to visit relatives and companions and gone by foot rather, as an indication of solidarity to the reason for Gorkhaland. 


The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) had on Sunday chosen to give a 12-hour unwinding for Muslims to commend the celebration amid which they could utilize vehicles to go to the fields and meet their relatives. Police and security strengths watched the lanes. Shops and markets stayed shut. Drug stores, healing centers and private nursing homes were open.
