The Gorkhaland development driven by Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) in the Darjeeling slopes of West Bengal.A development to "isolate Assam fifty-fifty" has been on discontinuously since 1967. It in the end prompted the production of the Bodoland Autonomous Council in 2003 however activists now need a Bodoland state.The All Bodo Students' Union is initiating the Bodoland statehood development by People's Joint Action Committee of Bodoland Movement (PJACBM), the umbrella body. 


In an announcement on Saturday, the PJACBM stated: "The upheaval of strain in Darjeeling zone is only an outlandish result of the imperious lead of the Bengal government and also administration of India's absolute carelessness towards the issue." 


Censuring the "ridiculous monstrosities with respect to the Bengal police and their unpredictable torment on unarmed regular people in the city of Darjeeling", the association stated: "Recuperation of purported deadly weapons from the workplace of GJM as appeared in the media film is only a plant of Bengal police. The burning of media vehicles is a piece of intrigue brought forth by Bengal police to accuse the GJM.''
