CPN (Maoist Center) Chitwan has requested re-voting at the Bharatpur Metropolitan City's ward no 19 where the poll papers were destroyed to pieces in a debate among the political gatherings.

Maoist Center has issued an announcement on Monday requesting a re-surveying under the Clause 49 and 50 of the Local Level Election Act – 2073.

The Center has denounced CPN (UML) of coordinating the demonstration of tearing up poll papers while in the meantime censuring what it terms as 'spreading of misshaped truths and reputation against the Maoist Center through long range informal communication destinations and media'.

The announcement marked by Maoist Center District In-control, Ishwori Bhattarai, states that the UML's demonstration – coordinated with an aim to impact the race at the last phases of vote tally – has brought up an issue over its sense of duty regarding popular government.

In the interim, Chitwan's Chief Election Official, Kavi Prasad Neupane, said the Election Commission has been educated of the episode and included he would take after the EC's guidelines. The vote numbering scene has been closed with a tight security mechanical assembly set up.
