KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday morning left for New Delhi in India to pay a five-day state visit toward the southern neighbor.
It is the President's first remote visit since her race to the top post in October 2015.
VP Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker Onsari Gharti among others saw Bhandari off at the Tribhuvan International Airport today.President Bhandari will lead a 34-part group including Minister for Foreign Affairs Prakash Sharan Mahat and Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Sita Devi Yadav.
The legislature has reported an open occasion today on the event of the President's flight.
