The Pashupatinath Temple is a renowned, hallowed Hindu sanctuary devoted to Pashupatinath and is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River 5 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu Valley in the eastern city of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
