Around 100 fringe columns along Nepal-India outskirt in Kapilvastu area have been repaired. 


A joint study group from the two nations repaired fringe columns 544/1 to 589. The group has begun to repair principle, backup and minor columns in the outskirt territories. 


A Nepali group has been repairing odd-numbered columns while its Indian partner has been repairing even-numbered columns. 


Nirmal Kumar Acharya, group pioneer from the Nepali side, said they have as of now repaired and hued 50 outskirt columns up until this point. "The work will proceed till May," said Acharya, including that the group will likewise consider whether there is any infringement along the outskirt. 


A seven-part group from every nation has been assembled in the fringe regions to repair outskirt columns. 


Hari Singh is driving the group from the Indian side. 


Partner Chief District Officer Krishna Bahadur Khadka said the joint group will likewise investigate and report about missing and removed columns. 


There are 45 fundamental columns, 213 auxiliary columns and 274 minor columns in Kapilvastu region. Out of 532 columns, 314 have been cleared away, 43 have been harmed and 177 must be developed. 


Security powers having a place with Armed Police Force (Nepal) and Shasastra Seema Bal (India) have uplifted standard observation in the fringe region.
