Kapil Sharma (conceived 2 April 1981) (original name Kapil Punj) he took Sharma as his surname which was his maternal surname. He is an Indian stand-up comic, TV moderator, performing artist and maker. He facilitated a TV comic drama demonstrate Comedy Nights with Kapil from June 2013 to January 2016.
