The Special Cell has captured two men with top notch fake Rs 100 notes, which were carried into Delhi through Nepal. Fake bills with face estimation of Rs 6 lakh have been seized from them. The notes were to be circulated in business sectors in front of the bubbly season.
The captured men have been distinguished as Sanjeev and Arvin. They were seized close Sonia Vihar in upper east Delhi on Saturday. "We had recognized an auto, which was stopped almost a movement flag. Arvin drove the auto; he landed from the vehicle with the pack on his shoulder while Sanjeev was holding up outside with another sack. They were seized after their personalities were checked," said Sanjeev Yadav, DCP, Special Cell.
Refering to knowledge reports, TOI had on November 9 announced that an ISI-supported fake FICN racket in Peshawar and Karachi had gazed printing 100-group notes.
