US President Donald Trump has said he might want to settle the North Korea emergency strategically, yet that a "noteworthy, real clash" is conceivable. 


In a meeting with Reuters he applauded China's President Xi Jinping for his treatment of North Korea, calling him "a great man" who cherished his nation. 


Mr Trump additionally said it had been "hard" for Kim Jong-un to assume control North Korea at such a youthful age. 


The UN Security Council is meeting to talk about North Korea on Friday. 


US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington would consult with North Korea, with a view to expelling atomic weapons from the nation, not changing the administration. 


He disclosed to NPR radio in the US: "We don't look for administration transform, we don't look for a crumple of the administration, we don't look for a quickened reunification of the landmass.
